English Language: 8th Grade - Just A Job

Watch the following video and make a list of DOs and DON'Ts.

Video

Write a list of your qualities and think of three jobs you could try - based on those qualities.

Write a list of 30 different jobs you can think of and verbs that show the main activities those jobs imply.

Pick one job from your list and write an imaginary interview between you and someone who does that job for a living (5-6 questions and answers) about their responsibilities and their schedule.

Watch the video below and imagine you are a reporter - interviewing the customers of three of these restaurants. (5-6 questions and answers for each place) Write them down and send them to me for assessment.

Watch and listen to the video below. Write down the subtitles, translate them into Romanian, then listen to the video again, pausing it after every cue and repeating aloud.
